Never seen a restaurant use so many plastic sacks! So environment unfriendly. Even orders to stay came in big plastic sacks. Won't go back.

Took ti long to grt our order and didn't like the hamburger didn't like the meat and the bun was to big

I've eaten at this place since I was a little girl. My Nana lived a block over. I make sure to stop when passing thru. FOOD is Fire May seem like small portions but beliwve me it enough just like mama made with a tortilla fresh off the grill.

The best food ever I suggest their been cheese burritos and rolled tacos. We come here every time we visit family in Yuma they have amazing service too. Sometimes it's a little slow but that is because it's such a good restaurant and besides when you get your food it's ALWAYS worth it.

A sibling restaurant to Chili Pepper, this family-owned business has been legendary in Yuma for decades. When kids go off to college, they demand weekly shipments of the addictive bean and cheese from here. Don't let the modern outside of the building fool you, this is home cooked Mexican food with family recipes. The menu is very similar between this restaurant & Chili Pepper, but the salsas here seem to be different. I preferred the salsas at Mr. G's to the salsa sate Chili Pepper, but otherwise, I found their menus to be equivalent. Don't visit Yuma without having breakfast or lunch here!

This place is great! Reminds me of our Dad's machaca burritos. All the food was very Delicious!

For $11 almost $12 dollars the carne Asada fries are mainly fries no meat ! One small scoop of guacamole an sour cream barely any cheese ! AND THE FRIES ARE FROZEN FRIES have no utensils or sauce never again !

Part of Yuma History. Good food. Good prices. Varied menu. And pretty authentic food. The same family owns Chili Pepper. This plave has been in business for over 50 years.

This place is so legit. From the moment you walk in you see that it is well put together. The menu is just right, but the cashier if you tell her its your first time, she says "well we are known for our cheese and bean burritos and our machaca. Wasn't able to try them, because of my food sensitivities. But wasnt disappointed at the rolled tacos i ordered with a side of beans. The rooled tacos with the red salsa y give you is auhmazing! I also ordered an horchata! It was great, not too sweer just right! Mr. G's was a recommendation from an friend and it did not disappoint! I am definitely returning everytime i am in yuma! Great food, very clean and great customer service!

I do wish they still have a phone number to call in orders. Not everyone can order on line

I have frequented this place for many, many years! My menu favorites: bean and cheese burrito and rolled tacos.

The rolled tacos our my favorite with a side of rice. Miss the old hot sauce, didn't care to much for the chunky hot sauce.

Food is always great. However, a past visit, I ordered a burrito with guac and sour cream. They gave me the burrito with the G&SC on the side. I ordered again today and asked for G&SC and asked if they could put it INSIDE the burrito. They said no. They don't do that. Why would ingredients not he put in?

I come and stay in Yuma when we need Mexican dental work done. I have eaten here 3 times now. This visit I purchased 3 soft shell chicken tacos on corn tortillas with a side of beans. The tacos come with 3 small containers of thin taco sauce. The flavor was good but not much chicken in each taco. They offered cabbage on it but I was looking for more like cilantro or something else for more flavor. To be honest the street tacos in Los Algodones are far better. The beans were served in a small container and had a good flavor but were runny. The cost was about $11 which seemed reasonable but I left still hungry. In summary, decent Mexican food, good quality, the place is clean and easy to find.

A must try when in Yuma! This is a tradition everyone in Yuma grows up with and craves when they move away! The simplest and most delicious food in town! Try their bean and cheese burrito with rolled tacos!

I've been coming here since I was a kid and now that I live in Phoenix nothing here has that Mr.G's flavor,it's one of a kind,vary nice staff as well ♥️

The rolled tacos are excellent! Homemade tortillas made the bean, rice & cheese burrito above average as well. The guacamole is very good and so where the beans & rice. The cheese enchiladas also were good. The one thing that would have made this experience over the top would have been better salsa. While it was acceptable it didn't add that extra kick of flavor to food.

I can't talk about the food. Than to say. When ever we are in Yuma. One of my coworkers has to eat here every day. I do a food run for her today. I found it clean, fast, friendly. I am sure you will like it.

Food was good, set up for service not so much.

Extremely long wait, taco salad taco strips on top were stale, disappointing. Staff was working hard, good thing drive in wasn't open!

The food is decent and so are the prices. The place needs a good active manager on site, the staff isn't very friendly or knowledgeable, especially the girl with multiple piercings all over her face. I was missing part of my order, but too much of a hassle to point it out. They literally scream out orders for pickup, need a better system. It's a good location and what appears to be a new building. Hopefully they'll work through the kinks and I think they would be able to with the right management.

Simplicity at its best. Bean and cheese burrito and 2 rolled tacos. You will not find it any better anywhere else. I always get a large take-out order and bring it back to Phoenix

Reopened after construction,not the same anymore(not good) After 50 year's for me won't be back!!

We Ordered rolled tacos Really GOOD. We also ordered adobado chicken plate, I think that was probably 2 stars. Overall good experience. Also we ordered our food to dine in, but we got our food packed to go. We looked around and I think that's the way they serve the food there even if you dine in, so heads up no plates were given either with the tacos they were wrapped in parchment paper. If we ever travel back to AZ we will probably come back ONLY for the rolled tacos and salsa.

If you are visiting Yuma or just passing through, this is a great place to stop, stretch you legs and enjoy some amazing Mexican food. The machaca beef is sooo good and their refried beans are some of the tastiest we've ever had. We'll be making this a more regular stop when going through Yuma.

Food was too bland. I was disappointed with my carne asada FriesThe fries were soggy they look like they came out of a frozen bag from walmart and they weren't cooked thoroughly and the cheese was too thick; shredded cheese would've been a better option. Personally it wasnt a great experience not worth coming back.
